Hog’s Head

Hi everyone! After about three years of forgetting this website existed, I’m back. I re-found this website by doing this: While typing in the address of my website in the address bar, I suddenly got the brain-spark that I should try to figure out what my friend Charlotte was doing wrong in her search for my website. She had gotten on once and couldn’t remember how to do it again. I typed in all mistakes she might have made while trying to reach the site. The last one I tried was meghan.meagherfamily.com. It came up with an error, and had done a google search of meghan meagherfamily for me. It had come up with: The Meaghers
Now we’re going to have Meghan Meagher singing “Candle on the Water” … Just a reminder that you can see our photos here http://photos.meagherfamily.org. …
Wait, Meghan Meagher was MY name. And I sang “Candle on the Water” once! Is there a duplicate me, or did my parents really put that of all things on their website? It was not my best work, if I remember correctly! I clicked on the link, and just like that I remembered. I remembered that one day, on Lake Winnepessauke when I was bored to tears, I brought out my essay for school, which my dad had said we should publish on the internet, and typed it up on this blog site. It’s so weird what these websites bring back!

Anyway, I was not really planning on reminiscing on this blog quite so much. I was planning to tell all of you about the website that I very recently created! I’ve been really into Harry Potter lately. Actually, it’s kind of taken over my life, I love it so much. I was extremely depressed when I finally finished the seventh, and final, book. I felt kind of empty without the surprises, twists and turns in the books, when I already knew what happens. But I just kept reading them, over and over, because I knew that nothing I ever read after Harry would equal him. I still needed something more Harry Potter, because this whole rereading thing was only a part of my entertainment now. I looked to the computer for help. First I googled all the names in Harry Potter I could remember and did an images search. That was very amusing, but could get inappropriate pretty fast, so I stopped after a while. I also tried making slide shows about the people in Harry Potter and the curious magical objects of Harry Potter. The computer really was helping a lot, but still not enough. I wrote stories about Harry Potter, tried writing it from Hermione’s perspective rather than Harry’s, I did all my school projects somehow realated to Harry Potter. Yeah, this was working. But then I made a website. First, I tried a google site, but that’s not really for formal sites. It’s more for something quick and easy that doesn’t need to be decorative or anything. But luckily my dad found another software for making websites (as he finds for just about everything) and I started over, with my friend Jill as the editor-in-chief, myself as the manager and my dad as the adviser with pure-gold advice. It has been working beautifully ever since. We’ve been adding editors and and users ever since. The only thing is, you have to be a user with a password on this site to get in. Of course, for now, this is pretty cool because we have not quite finished with the site. We’re just finishing up the pages that need finishing up, and after that we’re going to make our site public by getting rid of the password protection. I hope you check it out! For now the site’s address is. We are thinking about changing it when it goes public, but that’s what it is for now. If you’d like to be part of my website, please leave your e-mail address and name in the comments and I’ll give you a username and password. Also let me know if you’d like to be an editor or just a user. Thanks for your time!

So here I be and off I go! I hope you enjoyed this blog and it wasn’t too boring for you. I hope that you remember this site exists once and a while so you can read the blogs! and I also hope that you visit my website! See you!
